Over the course of 50 years I've felt significant levels of self-esteem, but also there were periods where I felt completely worthless and insignificant. I've realized that self-esteem is our internal compass and will tell us whether being true to ourselves or not. All we need to do is learn to check in with ourselves and we'll discover if we are in alignment with our authentic path or if we've got some adjustments that can be made to get back onto our rightful path.

The primary elements of this episode are:

  1. There are three levels of self-esteem: low self-esteem, inflated self-esteem, and just right self-esteem. Each of these levels is telling us something different.
  2. If you feel insecure, inadequate, or insignificant this is telling you that you aren't on your path, and your self-esteem is low because you are not being enough of yourself in the world. If you excessively secure, adequate, and significant to the point that you feel you are better or more valuable than others, you are off path and you're in a state of excessive self-esteem.
  3. When you feel secure in your life, adequate, and significant it means you are on your authentic path, and feeling equal to others at all times without shrinking or inflating yourself or shrinking or inflating others means your self-esteem is just right. We're all equal in this world, and when you feel that, you're on your path perfectly.
